Palinologia, num. extraord. 1: 283-291 Abstract: Several borehole sections from onshore marine Upper Dogger and ? lowermost Malm strata in the Netherlands have been examined in the last years for dinoflagellates. Two zones could be established; micropaleontological and in part ammonite control was available; these are (i) the Ctenidodinium ornatum Zone which is Bathonian in age and (ii) the uppermost Bathonian to ? lowermost Oxfordian Lithodinia jurassica Zone.
