Abstract: Systematophora rosenfeldii, a new species of the dinoflagellate cyst genus Systematophora Klement, 1960 emend. Stancliffe and Sarjeant, 1990, is described from the Lower Cretaceous (Agrio Formation) of the Neuquen Basin, Argentina. It is characterized by the presence of annulate complexes on all apical paraplates and the indication of preapical paraplates by low ridges.
